A visit from Charlie.....

My sister and brother-in-law have the sweetest yellow lab and his name's Charlie..... I'm introducing him in a photo below along with some friends of his who live down the street. Two of the cutest, friendliest golden retrievers ever. All three dogs are very good natured and get along like a house on fire. Talk about a high concentration of cute!


Charlie, naturally, loves his visits to the island. That place was scientifically engineered to be lab hog heaven. Roger was sure Charlie couldn't handle navigating over the new rip rap and was busy researching another access point when Charlie scampered, mountain goat-like, down the rocks and into the water.........


Charlie was having such a good time Roger decided to join him.


The next best thing to swimming is the toweling off.... He turned into a squirming, leg kicking, growling ball of jello. I thought he was going to start purring.


Contemplating the political issues in the Middle East.



And all too soon time to make the trip back to the mainland.
